A new leap in GameFi tokenomics and NFT mechanics. Frogger plans on hybridizing the best of the two…combining unique digital artwork with staking and play-to-earn incentives. Coming to Polygon mainnet in Q4 2021
What is Frogger?
Frogger NFTs are 1-of-1 unique pixel art frogs, with handcrafted features specially designed by artist @codypalmerr on Twitter. These NFTs will act as the primary token inside of the Frogger ecosystem, with a staking platform to launch to eventually allow holders to earn passive income from their Froggers.
FRGR Token = Passive Income
A token called FRGR will be launched side by side with the NFTs, acting act as our native ecosystem’s reward token.
FRGR will be distributed to holders, as well as future stakers of Frogger NFTs.
FRGR Tokenomics
Upon completion of a successful launch, 2,000,000,000 FRGR tokens will be created with 50% of the total FRGR supply going to NFT holders at a rate of 10,000 FRGR per NFT, with the other 50% being locked in a liquidity pool contract.
FRGR tokens will be required to mint successive generations of Frogger NFTs, creating an endless supply-and-demand loop.
Breed-&-Burn Tokenomics
Frogger.xyz introduces a new mechanic to the DeFi and NFT space, and we’re calling it “Breed-&-Burn”
Users will be able to “breed” with other Froggers with one catch…each Frogger has a capped breeding limit. Once you reach your breeding limit, your Frogger must be “burned” on it’s final breeding, creating an ultimately-unknown, yet mathematically limited supply of Froggers.
Successive generations will also have lower breeding limits, keeping a harmonious balance between the rampant “burn-&-breed”-ers, and the Frogger-hodlers
Generations and their supply limits:
Generation 1–Max size: 10,000–Breed limit: 8,
Generation 2–Max size: 40,000–Breed limit of 4,
Generation 3-Max size: 80,000–Breed limit of 0
In short, the maximum supply of Froggers there can ever be is: 130,000. (Although this number is likely impossible and the exact supply can only be determined as the ecosystem unfolds.)
Frogger NFT staking & breeding is just the beginning…
A “play-to-earn” partnership is already in the planning and development stage. With the eventual launch of the Frogger Metaverse, your Froggers will be able to interact with other Froggers and use the Frogger “Breed-&-Burn” mechanic in real-time P2P gameplay! All whilst fully decentralized on the Ethereum blockchain using Polygon as the layer 2 solution!
How many Frogger NFTs and FRGR tokens will there be?
Generation 1 Frogger NFTs will consist of a total of 10,000 NFTs with handcrafted features. After the first generation, new Froggers will be minted in successive lots via the “Breed-&-Burn” mechanic in the V1 Frogger Staking Platform.
As of current plans, there will be a capped supply of 329,000 Frogger NFTs throughout the life of Frogger.Finance, and a capped token supply of 1,000,000,000 FRGR tokens.
How will Frogger launch?
Our plan is to launch as fairly as possible, with no presale, whitelist, or other exclusive barrier. Froggers will 100% open to anyone and everyone who wishes to mint. However, there will be a limit of 10 Froggers per mint to reduce mass-purchasing.
How were Frogger NFTs created?
Frogger NFT base characteristics and traits were handcrafted using single color pixels on a 128x128 pixel grid, and then scaled up to 1024x1024. All features were then randomly and algorithmically remixed & generated into new combinations with varying rarity levels to create the first generation which consists of over 10,000 unique artworks. A complete list of all characteristics and rarities will be generated at project launch.
Frogger.xyz will be a fully decentralized platform at final launch, with the intent to be a cryptocurrency and blockchain based metaverse experimental game.
